Hard drives mean one thing, moving parts that can be damaged by your moving parts. If you carry the mp3 mini player jogging and it freezes or quits you will be out of luck with the company warranty.
Various persons had troubles with freezing up. Calls over customer service finished up with leaving the player alone till the battery dies, charge it and try once more. Not very hopeful to customers.
