The CNA execs are in heavy demand due to advances in health care sector and ageing population. Manhattan Institute is among the vast institutions catering to this demand. Some of the FAQs about the program we offer are:

What is a CNA?

A CNA works under the observation of a registered nurse or a doctor and assists patients with commonplace activities. A CNA is answerable for providing basic care like personal cleanliness, grooming, checking vital signals of the patients. They could also assist doctors and nurses with medical procedures.

A little Information on Our CNA Training Course: The Manhattan Institute offers a two-part Certified Nursing Assistant training program.

Part 1: The 1st part of our CNA training program is run in our lecture rooms. Students are taught various facets of patient care, through lectures, audio/video instructions and practical demonstrations.

Part 2: The second part of the training which is composed of clinical training begins after the completion of the first part. During clinical coaching, students will work in a health care facility under the observation of a registered nurse. They will learn numerous clinical abilities and ways to handle assorted health care needs of different patients. The teacher (RN) will work with just 10 students to guarantee personalized instruction.

The NY State Certification Exam: Once you are done with your clinical coaching, you have to take a certification examination. The exams are administered by an independent testing organization authorized by the state. The examination consists of two parts; a written examination and a clinical test. A separate charge needs to be paid to the testing organisation to appear for the certification exams.
